ShellCast Team

ShellCast is run by a team of researchers in the Biological and Agricultural Engineering Department at NC State University led by Natalie Nelson (Assistant Professor). Sheila Saia (Lead Data Scientist), Stanton Parham (Web Developer), Laura Gomez Rodriguez (Undergraduate Research Assistant), Eshwar Chandra Vidhyasagar Thedla (Web Developer and Data Scientist), and Carrie Clower (Communications Researcher) were part of the original team that created ShellCast for North Carolina. Makiko Shukunobe (Full Stack Developer) is currently leading the expansion of ShellCast beyond North Carolina, and improving our existing algorithms.
